About the Green Jay:
A tropical Jay of South and Central Americas, but also found in the most southern region of Texas.
Young Jays will remain near the nesting site for up to a year after they hatch, helping defend the nest. After a year, they are evicted and must move out of the territory.
Eats pretty much everything: Insects, spiders, invertebrates, seeds, fruits, eggs/offspring of other birds, etc.
