About the Elegant Euphonia:
Found in a wide range of habitats, including humid forests and open farmland from the southern half of Mexico, down through Central America. 
A species of Finch, Elegant Euphonias are also known as Blue-hooded Euphonias.
The female is overall greenish with a turquoise hood.
